Immigration Issues

Immigration Issues: So, I was asked about the Libertarian Party Platform and specifically how it relates to some of the issues that are pertinent to this current election cycle. Below I will do my best to answer these. Of course, my answers will come from my interpretation of our Platform, so some people may differ with my opinions. 1) Immigration: I am not an Open Borders Libertarian. I think people who want to come to these United States should have the opportunity to seek citizenship and share in all that America has to  offer. This is not to say everyone, all the time, any way they want, however. Below I have outlined our party platform and my personal libertarian philosophy on these issues. a) Legal and Illegal Immigration. Party Position: Economic freedom demands the unrestricted movement of human as well as financial capital across national borders. However, we support control over the entry into our country of foreign nationals who pose a credible threat to security,
